Okay so this is simple.

Once apon a time there was a creature known as puu. There were many on the "Mimiga Island" but they got wiped out after a long period of time due to the rapid changes of the island. Balrog is then the only survivor, destined to make more of his old friends thrive on the island again someday , he works for Ballos in trade for the creation of new puu. The first one to be created is Puu-Black, it was defective though and somehow escaped Ballos' reach. And so , yeah.

Ah. You haven't heard my Balrog theory yet.

This is how it goes.

You see, Balrog called Jenka 'Auntie.' And we know of only one sibling to Jenka. That being, Ballos. Ballos and Jenka were siblings, and Jenka had her daughter, Misery. Ballos, he had his son. Balrog. Not only are the names similar, again. Balrog calls Jenka Auntie. But I don't think Balrog was his real son, I think he made balrog. Or, maybe he was his real son. Path 1 and path 2.
Path one: Ballos made Balrog. Balrog was made by ballos, ballos goes crazy, misery forces him to make the crown, balrog is lumped in to the eternal servitude deal.
Path two: Real child. Balrog was a child of flesh and blood. When Ballos goes crazy, he kills Balrog. Because dooooh, tragedy. Jenka is, we all know, afflicted with grief and puts Ballos in the island. Then she puts balrog's soul in a puu.

So yeah. Uh. Ask me more if you want to know more, this is just the skeleton of all I have xD

Antie, as in aunt. Wich means he is related , but not exactly her son. She could be related to ballos wich could be related to a puu wich could of given birth to our favorate lunchbox?
