| Name: Liv Race: Mimiga Age: 14 Gender: Female Physical Description: Liv stands at an average mimigan height for her age, which is pretty short. She is thinner than most, though, and has longer ears. She wears a solid burgundy sweater, as is the Mimiga fashion. Her eyes are black, like most Mimiga, but considerably wider. She is slightly bucktoothed and is almost always smiling. Personality: Liv is a tomboy, perky and lively, with a generally bright outlook on everything. She is seldom serious, and it's very hard to get her down without trying to. If she sees you are trying to, though, she might slap you. At heart she's an 'Adventurer', she says, but really what she likes to do is blow things up. When the going gets tough, though, she's a pretty good shot with her magical missile launcher. She speaks with a lithp tha'th mak'th her hardth to take theriouthly. Personal History: Not really an entirely interesting history. Nope. She was born in Mimiga Town, and grew up there under the care of a proper mother and an irresponsible father. He always spoiled her in rather strange ways, to the point of giving her a weapon of mass destruction at the tender age of three. It was the Magical Missile Launcher he'd had since he'd gotten it from his father when he was three. It no longer worked for him because he was an adult. She rampaged about with it, but luckily the weapon was relatively harmless in the hands of a toddler, so there were only skuffs and bruises from jumping away from the projectiles. She galavanted about for a few more years in the town, but when she was seven she discovered that the Bushlands had a whole ton of Critters and Jellies, and they made for better targets than the next-door neighbor-'s pet dog. So she went there every morning after breakfast with a sack lunch, leaving a very worried mother and a father who knew what his girl could handle. As her thirteenth birthday present, her parents let her move in to the Bushlands. She now lives with the humans, who at this point have come to enjoy the sounds of a screaming lisp and the shriek of a level three rocket hitting a power critter. Her job is basically maintaining the level of critters in the area. Weaponry: Liv has, and probably only ever will have, one weapon. It's a-No, the-Magical Missile Launcher (Pronounced 'Miss I'll'). It's a pinkish orange, and sizes to fit the weirder perfectly. It always behaves slightly different from user to user. Weapon logistics: - Spoiler:
For Liv, on its first level of power it shoots one rocket that cracks open and leaves a cloud of pinkish-orange smoke, and slightly bends to hit moving targets, but only a couple degrees. It doesn't hurt sentient beings very much, more like a slap in the face than anything. Surprising, but not especially painful. The recoil for this is slight. The level two rocket goes a whole lot slower, but follows targets better for that. One could stay ahead of it with just a slight run. It explodes a lot more shockingly, the rocket casing cracking open loudly and releasing a plume of smoke. The trick to these, if you can't get one off your tail, is that their homing function cuts out after it's about a foot away from you. So, it keeps going straight once it thinks it'll hit you. Tis rocket's recoil is almost nonexistent with a good footing, but more like a canon shot when firing it's so loud. The third level shoots very, very quickly, and is very, very scary to those being shot at. It shrieks almost to the point of a scream when fired, and explodes only after it's punched you in the chest with enough force to make ribs groan. It cracks open, and the smoke overwhelms most noses with tangerine and pomegranate supprise. Needless to say, it's really hard to get to level three, and one hit shoots it back a level. This recoil is enough to launch someone into their rear if they don't do something about it.
It can only ever be wielded by one who is a child at heart, and when not in use it turns into a little music box. The tune to that is 'Eye of the Tiger', by the way. Wielding this weapon makes one move through the air a slower, and jump higher, like there's less gravity. Magical Tallents: Operating her weapon in itself is almost magic, but otherwise none. But she could probably learn, being used to her weapon. Strengths and Weaknesses: Liv claims that sticks and stones may break her bones, but words would never hurt her. But this is untrue. If the insulting party is someone she likes/actually knows, she might just break down in tears. She has a lisp, too, but she sees that more as something that makes her unique than a flaw. She seldom takes anything seriously, and that can be a pain, and can sometimes be too much. She is, though, a really damn good fighter. Very energetic and generally acrobatic, she certainly knows how to dance. She can be charming at times, and her energy is oftentimes contageous. Other: Nothing here.
