Professor Riley - The Mimiga Scientist!

Physical Description: Riley looks like any other Mimiga, having white fur and being short. However the best way to tell him from the rest is the red sweater he wears. He found it one day during a trip to the Balcony before then he wore nothing!. He also a speaks a bit of russian that he learned from his mother when he was still human.


Personality: Riley is a very smart Mimiga, however it can sometimes go to his head and make him very silly, but he is also very careing in fact he would go berserk if someone close to him gets hurt by an enemy, especially his partner Penny. He can also be serious sometimes when something bad happens and he dose his best to stop the problem from getting worse. He also worrys sometimes about Penny and that she would find out that he used to be human one day, thinking she would up and leave him.


Personal History: Finn was to two successful bakers, Gregory Hudson, an American and Helena Dmitri, a Russian, as the sixth child of the Dmitri family. and third son. By the time he was five, Finn was interested in Science and reading and slightly good at Maths and English.

By the time he was thirteen, kinda wanted to do a second hobby so he tried to do what his 5 other siblings were best at, cooking, art, sewing, melee combat and archery. He suck at all but Melee, but thought it was boring, so he stuck to science and reading.


At eighteen, Finn achieved success with science and heard about a science and research centre called "Rozcorp S.A.R.C" renting a small apartment, he was soon assigned with Thomas Benson, another scientist and his wife Eileen Riff who was a Researcher. The three work well together and soon became well known around the work place as the three top workers of S.A.R.C things were going well!

Until the Big Project happened...

The three began work on "Project Porta" a project that would teleport one person to one country to another in no time at all!. At first the work seemed hopeless until there was a major breakthrough with the project, They decided to test it out somewhere very far for a first attempt. Finn went with Eileen and Thomas to test out Project Porta, at first things seemed ok, however the Machine malfunctioned and took them some place far from Far from the Surface..


They ended up in the Bloodstained sanctuary.

As the three looked around at there new surroundings they found that they could not teleport back to Malaysia and set out to find away out of the Santuary. Slowly realising that they may not be on the surface anymore. When they were about to give up they ran into a mysterious cloaked man who's face was unseen. He said that he could get the three out without any trouble at all. Finn, Thomas and Eileen, having no choice, followed the man around the Sanctuary. Noticing the halls getting darker they were soon in a room..full of stuffed creatures..including mimiga!. The three were shocked at what they saw before the Man showed himself, a dangerous bounty hunter who hunts anything around the deeper parts of the Sanctuary for fun. The three Scientists ran out of the room. However the man threw a Purple bomb at Finn and a purple stone at Thomas and Eileen. As the bomb hit Riley he was blasted to a wall and was knocked out..Feeling weird before fainting.. 


When Finn awoke he was in a locked room..As a Mimiga!. The man infront of the door to the room Finn was in, he explained that the bomb was a polymorph that turned him into a mimiga. He also said that he encased Eileen and Thomas in a Purple stone to keep for a "Human Collection". Finn, shocked at this, managed to run under the man's legs and ran off into the Sanctuary halls. Lucky for him he managed to get out of the sanctuary and found a Teleporter, quickly pressing on one of the locations (Bushland's) he teleported to it.

When Riley caught his breath he went out and looked around at his new surroundings. Realising that he really was not in Taiwan, he walked around and notice Human like technology and weird creatures. He then ran into a Female mimiga who explained that he was in "The Cave" learning about his new surroundings, when the Mimiga asked for his name, he quickly thought of a fake name so the Hunter would not find him that quick, he quickly thought of "Riley Dmitri" and walked off to find shelter. Quickly finding an abandoned house covered in Vines, Riley took it for himself and started to work on finding away on undoing the Polymorph and away back to the surface with Thomas and Eileen.

As years passed Riley did not make any friends with the Mimigas and only talked to the shop keepers when he went to the village to get stuff. The only person he talked to was "His Friend from the Sand Zone" when he finally managed to work a teleporter around the cave. Her name was Jeannie Mary Weather, a nice and sassy witch. He also tried again with hobby's, but failed and threw them in his backyard, turning it into a junkyard. He also had wires hang around the roof and windows of his house.

Sooner or later he managed to work the teleporter to travel back to earth to the same day He, Thomas and Eileen went to the cave. He tested it to see if he can teleport back to the cave, however the teleporter malfunctioned again and resulted in Riley getting electrocuted and his leg being set on fire. Fortunately he managed to travel back The surface, however he ended up in the sky and started to fall. Riley tried his best to find a place to land, however he landed on a tall tree and fell on every branch of it, landing on the last branch of the tree. He weakly opened his eyes to find out that he was about to fall again, this time to his possible death. As Riley closed his eyes, the last thing he heard before falling in a two day coma was laughter and the sound of footsteps.

Two days later, Riley awoke to see a Little black haired girl in a Black dress sitting beside him in a small bed. When Riley spoke, the girl stabbed her hand with a fork upon the discovery. Riley Laughed and introduced himself, then she said her name..Penny Benson, Riley's Eyes widen as she remembered that name, Eileen and Thomas mentioned a daughter named Penny..it was her!. He did not want to ask about Thomas and Eileen as he did not want to make Penny panic about her parents. He explained the situation with the teleporter and Penny offered to help him get back to the cave. Riley, knowing well he cant see his family as a rabbit thing, decided to work his way back to the Cave.

As Time passed Riley took refuge under Penny's dorm bed, his wounds improved and he started work on the portal once they healed. with Penny's help and bonding they managed to finish making a teleporter back to the cave. Riley, knowing about Penny's poor condition in the girls school offered her a chance to go with him back to the cave. Penny accepted and soon the two managed to get back to the cave unharmed unlike the first two attempts with teleportation, forgetting the fact that the teleporter is still behind the schools tree once they were gone...but not working.

As More years pasted Riley became more social ever since he met Penny. he cares for her deeply, on her fourteenth birthday he gave her Hoppy Earrings and a pair of bangs for her hair. He also make's crazy inventions sometimes, however he would always keep secrets from her, like the truth about her Parents whereabouts and Jeannie. He must try his best to not make the truth be revealed to the closest person he ever had.




Weaponry: Riley was good with Melee combat when he was still human, so he managed to find 2 short Blades when he was first a mimiga, he was not like a ninja where he jumps around and slices stuff, he would usually run and stab at the enemy's. He once tried to use an Energy star, however it resulted in him blowing up one of the Bushland's spikes, he gave that to Penny.


Strengths: Riley is amazingly good at Computers and science stuff in general hence why most of his roof of his house is filled with Wires and computers, he's also good at repairing things and likes reading.


Weakness: Riley's not very good walking on all fours when he's required to. He often falls and hits his face. he's also not good at climbing or jumping unlike Penny. He also sucks at sewing, guns, cooking and art, he threw most of them in his backyard along with failed Inventions which is why his Backyard is messy.

This is pretty good! My only gripe is that you made him sound a little too good with his blades, like he's a ninja or the like. Please define how good or bad he is. Also, please say how long the blades are. I would also recommend making the year he was born MUCH more vague. I suggest you do so because the story here takes place a 100 years after Cave Story, so we have no idea what year it is. By the logic of his birth year being out there, he's over 100.
